The Turkish Statistical Institute has announced solid fuel statistics for August.
As a result, the total salable production of solid fuels in August was 6 million 417 thousand 863 tons of lignite, 407 thousand 905 tons of hard coal coke and 132 thousand 862 tons of hard coal. While salable lignite production increased by 0.8% in August compared to the previous month, it decreased by 7.5% compared to the same month of the previous year.
The amounts of the deliveries were calculated at 6 million 58 thousand 798 tons for lignite, 3 million 316 thousand 526 tons for hard coal and 495 thousand 672 tons for hard coal coke.
Analyzing the distribution of solid fuels by delivery location, 60.7% of hard coal deliveries were made to thermoelectric plants, 13.6% to coke ovens, 13.4% to non-steel industries, while 84 , 8% of lignite deliveries were made. thermal power plants and 9.7% to industry other than the steel industry.
In the case of hard coal coke, the highest delivery was made to the steel industry with 94.5%.
The highest rate of satisfying deliveries of solid fuels produced was achieved in lignite with 105.9 percent in August. This rate was determined kakım 82.3% in hard coal coke and 4% in hard coal.
