The housing price index veri for September 2022 was announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT).
The (KFE) (2017=100), calculated to monitor the quality-adjusted price changes of houses in Turkey, increased by 4.9% in September compared to the previous month and was recorded at 575.2.
While the house price index rose 189.2% year over year in September, the real increase over this period was 58%.
Looking at the house price index changes for the three big cities, Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir increased by 4.6%, 4.3% and 5.8% respectively in September compared to the month previous one. Index values increased by 212.1 percent in Istanbul, 196 percent in Ankara and 185.8 percent in Izmir compared to the same month a year earlier.
