The European Statistical Office (Eurostat) has released the final veri on the growth rates of the euro area in the third quarter of 2022.
As a result, seasonally adjusted gross domestic product (GDP) in the 19-member Eurozone increased by 0.2% in the third quarter compared with the previous quarter. Therefore, the final veri confirmed the previously published preliminary veri.
In the euro area, GDP increased by 2.1 percent in the third quarter of 2022 compared with the same period of 2021. The regional economy grew by 0.8 percent in the second quarter of the year compared with the quarter previous year and 4.3 percent year-on-year.
