Turkish Statistical Institute announced November services, retail trade and construction confidence indices.
As a result, the seasonally adjusted confidence index decreased by 1% in the services sector in November on a monthly basis. The index rose 2.1% in the retail sector and 1.2% in the construction sector.
The seasonally adjusted services confidence index, which was 119.3 in October, became 118.1 in November.
Compared with the previous month, the employment situation in the services sector decreased by 2.6% in the past three months, the demand for services decreased by 2.6% in the past three months, and the demand expectation for services in the next three months increased by 1.7%.
RETAIL SECTOR CONFIDENCE INDEX
The seasonally adjusted retail trade confidence index increased from 119.4 in October to 121.9 this month.
Compared to the previous month in the retail sector, the sales turnover increased by 2.6% in the past three months, the current level of merchandise inventories increased by 1.5%, and expectations of the sales turnover in the next three months increased by 2.2 percent.
The seasonally adjusted confidence index for the construction sector, which was 90.5 last month, became 91.6 this month.
Compared with the previous month, the current level of registered orders received in the construction sector increased by 1.6%, while the total number of sub-index of employee expectations in the next three months increased by 0.8%.
