Iran has signed a gas agreement with Russia.
According to the official Iranian news agency IRNA, Javad Ovci, speaking to reporters after the cabinet meeting, touched on energy developments.
Ovci said: “We have entered into zihin agreement with Russia worth about $ 4 billion for the development and export of natural gas fields, on the transmission lines.”
Recalling that they signed a preliminary agreement of about $ 40 billion with the Russian energy company Gazprom, Ovci noted that another Russian energy company, ZN Vostok, has also invested in Iran.
